Previous Stories Renee and Stefan are married We had a very small but lovely civil ceremony on October 14th with a few friends and family. We wanted to be officially married (and officially start our life together!) before applying for Swiss residency permits. Since there are so many of you that we couldn't invite, we plan to have a reception next summer in Seattle, and we hope that you can come!
Renee and Stefan are engaged
We are engaged to be married! Stefan asked Renee to marry him at Deception Pass, and she said yes! We then spent a wonderful weekend on Orcas Island to celebrate. Check the blog for our engagement story. Renee and Stefan are moving to Switzerland We are moving to Zurich! Stefan has accepted a job with Google at their office in Zurich, Switzerland. Renée does not have a concrete job offer yet, but she has several avenues to explore. Before starting work in Zurich, Stefan must first undergo training for six weeks at Google's headquarters in Mountain View, California. We will take one week during that period to visit Zurich on a house-hunting trip. We are tentatively planning our final move to Zurich for October 30th. Before leaving, we plan to spend time with all of our friends and family, including a trip to Florida! We want to keep in touch with all of you. Check back here frequently for updates!
